Capacity for our beloved device has certainly always been one of our headaches, as year after year the capacity requirements for both applications and our daily use increase.
Apple gave the first signs that it is seriously considering increasing the storage capacity of its i devices with the arrival of iTunes 11. This weekend with the arrival of the fifth beta of iOS 6.1 this was reinforced after the discovery of @iNeal that he made when comparing the SystemPartitionPadding values between the BuildManifest.plist files of iOS 6.1 beta 5 and the older 6.0.x versions. The 128GB option therefore appeared again.

Today 9to5Mac brings to light yet another discovery that suggests that not only is Apple seriously considering releasing its devices with 128GB capacity, but we'll probably see them soon with a new version of the iPad 4.

According to the SKU of this new device, we observe the following:
- It will be an iPad 4 but not with a new design.
- It will come in two colors, black and white.
- It will be both WiFi and 4G LTE
- There will be a special discount for educational institutions
Pricing has not yet been announced, but it seems likely that Apple will add the 128GB option soon, especially since the upcoming iPhone 5s is rumored to have a 12MP camera.
