Samsung Galaxy S II Plus is coming

The Samsung Galaxy S II was released in the last quarter of 2011, and the Samsung Galaxy S III was announced in May 2012. Since then, the company has chosen to release the required software update for Android 4.1 JellyBean on the S III, but not on the S II, which had proven to be very successful and is considered to have paved the way for the success of the S III.

Now, the S II is back with a Plus version. The technical specifications remain more or less the same, although the Plus will also be available in an NFCthat will serve some of the new smart features carried over to the Galaxy II Plus from the S III.

The S II Plus has a 1.2GHz dual-core chip, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED LED Plus display but runs Android 4.1.2.

What is being transferred to the S II Plus is the so-called Pop Up video, S Voice, Voice Unlock, S Beam, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Smart Alert and AllShare Play.

S II owners are now waiting to hear from official sources whether their smartphone will be on the list of phones that will get a taste of Android 4.1, given that it has not been announced for the S II Plus in which markets and when exactly it will be released.
