The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were released on Wednesday of last week.
Much has been said about the advanced photography capabilities of these new smartphones. The iPhone 7 Plus boasts an all-new dual-camera system that incorporates a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, which Apple says is capable of amazing performance.
The iPhone 7 Plus launched with an all-new dual-camera system built into its 12MP sensor. It features a wide-angle ƒ/1.8 aperture and a telephoto lens with an ƒ/2.8 aperture, both of which fire at the same time and are capable of amazing performance, according to Apple. The camera features 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom.
However, it's difficult to confirm Apple's claims about the new dual-camera system yet, as shipments are scheduled to begin this Friday.
But thanks to Sports Illustrated, we have the chance to see some samples of the phone's camera from the Titans-Vikings NFL game that will demonstrate the capabilities of the new dual-camera module available for the new device. Professional photographer David E Klutho had the opportunity to take photos using the phone at the game between the Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, September 11th.
The iPhone 7 Plus' dual-camera system "is capable of capturing high-quality photos with incredible detail even when zooming in from a distance, in addition to taking Live Photos. Images are sharp, details in images are preserved, and everything is in focus."
