Which Greek uploader is wanted by Interpol?

Yes, a Greek Uploader wanted by Interpol! Almost a decade after the US government shut down the popular pirate website Ninjavideo, one of the main suspects is still wanted.

The case led to many prison sentences, but the authorities have not given up and are searching for the last suspect, who also appears on Interpol!

Five years ago, several of the people associated with the video streaming and download site NinjaVideo were arrested by the US government for copyright infringement and conspiracy.

The landmark case led to multiple convictions, including a 22-month prison sentence for the site's founder, Hana Beshara.
Beshara, who received the longest sentence, was released last summer. However, that doesn't mean the case is closed.

One of the defendants, a member of NinjaVideo, is also Greek Zoe Mertzani. Mertzani, also known as “Tik,” was allegedly one of the website’s most active uploaders.

However, despite the convictions and settlement agreements, the Greek woman has not yet been arrested.

Zoe is now 40 years old and is currently on Interpol's wanted list. Interpol has issued a so-called "red notice" for the former Ninjavideo uploader.

According to TorrentFreak, Mertzani is the only person associated with a streaming and downloading page and is listed on the Interpol website.

The Ninjavideo case has been one of the US government's most prominent successes, and if Mertzani is arrested and extradited, she faces a prison sentence of several months, based on her previous convictions.

The harshest sentence was given to NinjaVideo founder Hana Beshara, who was sentenced to 22 months in prison and ordered to pay $210,000 in restitution to the MPAA. Co-founder Matthew Smith was sentenced to 14 months in prison and ordered to pay more than $172,000 in restitution.
