Facebook is rolling out its new tools, designed to prevent suicides globally.

Facebook has just unveiled new suicide prevention support tools globally. The next time you see one of your friends posting a really pessimistic post, you can flag it and anonymously report it as a potential message .

Many sad and love-stricken souls take to Facebook to openly express their feelings and seek help from friends. In most cases, posts from such people cannot be reported to the relevant authorities for fear of revealing their personal data. Facebook's suicide prevention tools will allow all users around the world to report such cases to the authorities anonymously.

This Facebook tool works like a regular button. When you see a post that emanates sadness and seems like a possible suicide message, you can flag that post on Facebook, which will reach your friend and offer them a helpline or support to guide them through this difficult time.

Readers may note that Facebook introduced this tool last year and was in testing in some English-speaking countries. The testing is now complete and the tool has been rolled out globally. Facebook said it has set up a team to monitor such suicidal posts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

So, the next time you see a really sad and pessimistic post, you know what to do!
