See what can happen if you connect a chainsaw to an unmanned aerial vehicle!
Some farmers living in the Finnish countryside had a strange idea. They strapped a chainsaw onto a drone. And the result proves just how terrifying a robot!
Bringing new meaning to the term "retailer," the three friends use their new unmanned flying chainsaw - which they have named the killerdrone - to cut branches from trees, break stalactites blocking doors, and destroy snowmen.
In a production by Finnish independent filmmakers Misty Friday Films, the unmanned aerial vehicle-chainsaw is the protagonist of “KILLER DRONE! The Flying Chainsaw,” a short, less than three-minute clip that has been released on YouTube.
In the video you can see it destroying trees, snowmen, stalactites and flying in a threatening manner!
While it's certainly a scary sight to watch, this video shows some really practical solutions that such a machine can provide. For power trying to clear lines or similar operations, this could be used as a really useful tool to cut branches off tall trees that might be causing a problem.
Luckily, the video also reveals the secret weapon that's guaranteed to take on a chainsaw drone every time: balloons! So it seems all we need to protect ourselves are balloons, and lots of them.
