Robots that talk, run, swim, fly, go to space, clean the house, are used in architecture and education, interacting with humans, will once again be on display at the Eugenides Foundation 's Interactive Science and Technology Exhibition .
The entire week from December 15 to 21 will be dedicated to robotics. In this context, workshops on robotics are also being organized at the Eugenides Foundation , with free admission, for young and old (registration is required).
Young and old will be able to come into contact with the robots, interact with them, meet the researchers-manufacturers who developed them, and ask them their questions.
The event is co-organized by the Eugenides Foundation, the Research University Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (RICCS) of the NTUA, the Automatic Control Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the NTUA and the NCSR "Demokritos".
The robotic prototype exhibition will include humanoid robots that talk and interact with humans, robots used in medicine, microrobots that perform precision services, space robots, robotic fish that simulate real ones, and insect robots that move with microvibrations using sunlight as their exclusive energy source. Also, humanoid robots at human height, robots that navigate in space and avoid obstacles, robots that move in a maze, robotic brooms and mops, robots that play basketball, as well as robots that neutralize acids and dispose of garbage.
