Facebook spokesperson's statements bring virtual reality to the forefront
Chris Cox, Facebook's Chief Product Officer, hinted in his statements that Facebook is preparing virtual reality that its users will be able to use to create and consume VR (virtual reality) content.
Following Facebook's acquisition of Oculus last March for $2 billion, reports suggest that Facebook is preparing to create a futuristic multimedia experience on the social network
Of course, for now, there has been no official announcement from the popular social network regarding when this technology will be available to the public, how these applications will work, and how users will be able to create their own VR content.
