The details and photographs of the 55-year-old man, who was arrested in Patras for child pornography, were released by the Greek Police.
This is Triantafyllos Liapis, son of Konstantinos, who was born in Athens in 1960, and in his possession were found to be over 12,000 files containing pornographic material of minors.
In fact, in the chat rooms and websites with similar pornographic material that the perpetrator visited, he claimed that he had sexually abused children.
Among other things, according to the police, he had sent money abroad via courier in order to subscribe to a pedophile.
The 55-year-old was arrested, as an arrest warrant had been issued against him by the Trikala First Instance Prosecutor's Office for similar offenses, and he was deemed to be remanded in custody.
A relevant case has also been filed against him by the Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate.
