An open invitation to young (and old) people who want to learn to program is being extended by AllCanCode, the startup company that developed an innovative app to achieve its ambitious goal aimed at young children.
The app's main character, Marco, can be met at the Christmas Factory in Technopolis, where the app has been demonstrated until January 6, 2015, and has already been a great success. According to the app's creators, three thousand children have already played Run Marco at the Christmas Factory.
"Run Marco" is an adventure game, which, using a simplified visual programming language, teaches children step by step the basic principles of programming.
The central character of the game, Marco, must achieve goals, solve puzzles and accomplish many things within the game. To do all this, however, he will need the help of the children, who give him instructions and through this process they do not just play, they also learn the basic instructions.
Children who visit the Christmas Factory's Digital Christmas will be able to learn everything about the game and Marco, will "solve puzzles" on the "live" Marco track, and of course will be able to play the game and help Marco.

AllCanCode's game, Run Marco, is available on the Chrome Web Store, Google Play for Android tablets, the Amazon Store for Android and Kindle tablets, and the Apple App Store for iPad.
The game is designed not only to teach the basic principles of programming but also more complex concepts. Of course, it is available in Greek and has already been translated into 19 languages. The first 10 tracks of Run Marco are already available for free.
