Square Trade: See how easily 10 tablets broke

Square Trade, the American company that started providing smartphone and tablet insurance policies in Greece, has compiled a list of the ten most durable and most vulnerable tablets on the US market during the 2014 holiday season. Many of these tablets are also on the Greek market, including the Asus Memo Pad 7, which was distinguished for its durability. The most expensive tablets are not the most durable, one can see from the results of Square Trade. Being from an insurance company, it is obvious that the most well-known tablets are probably the most durable. The "durability factors" that the company examines concern the front and back panels, the size of the device, the weight, its water resistance, the slip test and the drop test. Interestingly, the Asus Memo Pad 7 is second on the list, while it costs about 130 euros in the Greek market.

The higher a device's rating, the higher the risk , according to Square Trade 's methodology .
