Athens, November 11, 2014 – Intel organized the annual Intel Technology Conference event for its partner channel on Wednesday, November 5, at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
The latest technologies and the products based on them were the subject of presentations at the event by Intel executives and speakers from the event's sponsors.
The multitude of solutions and devices that meet the specialized requirements of consumers and businesses was the common denominator of the presentations.
Intel partners, including multinational and Greek companies, sponsored the event and participated in the exhibition area, presenting a wide range of products based on Intel technologies.
The event was supported by Microsoft and HP as Platinum sponsors, while Dell, D-Link and Lenovo were Gold sponsors. Gigabyte, MSI and Toshiba and the three Intel distributors in Greece, InfoQuest, Enet Solutions-Logicom and Oktabit, supported the event as Silver sponsors.
The opening speech was given by Mr. John Sumner, European Union Region-Channel Sales Manager, who referred to the range of Intel technologies and solutions from the desktop space, to the world of servers and from ultraportable solutions for mobile phones, to the technologies that enable the creation of the ecosystem for the Internet of Things.
More than 250 participants had the opportunity to attend presentations from the event's platinum and golden sponsors, as well as to get to know firsthand all the newest products based on Intel technologies, as well as the programs it has developed regarding security and education.
Intel's partner channel in Greece has more than 1,000 businesses that resell technology products, providing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, professionals and home users. Intel, within the framework of its international partner program, provides training, technical support and sales promotion tools, helping its partners design solutions based on Intel technologies. In addition to its processors, Intel also offers products in the channel, such as SSD storage units, server products, and the innovative Next Unit of Computing (NUC) platform, which includes the full functionality of a desktop computer in a small unit, as well as McAfee security software products from Intel Security that protect the data of home consumers or companies on any of their devices.
