The gi-Cluster Game Jam 2014 (#giClusterGameJam), the 3rd in a series of Hellenic Game Jams held in Greece, will take place on December 12, 13 and 14 at the gi-Cluster collaborative space at α2-innohub, in Maroussi, inviting for another year the Greek community of game developers and those involved in the development of entertainment software to take part.
The gi-Cluster Game Jam 2014 is aimed at amateur and professional game developers, as well as those who are active or participate in the development of games and entertainment software. Registration for participation is done electronically through the page https://gamejam.gi-cluster.gr until December 1, 2014.
The first three winning teams will receive cash prizes worth €3,000, €2,000 and €1,000 respectively and will be given the opportunity, if they wish, to join the gi-Cluster business acceleration program, where they will be provided with office space (co-working space), mentoring by distinguished executives of the gi-Cluster members, access to training and the opportunity to directly network with the cluster's business ecosystem.
The organization of the gi-Cluster Game Jam 2014 is carried out with the active support of the members of gi-Cluster, the Panhellenic Association of Entertainment Software Creators (HGDA), which provides a dynamic team of volunteers and expertise from the organization of previous Game Jams, the company Lancom, which offers technical and online support, and Corallia as a Supporting Entity of gi-Cluster that provides the venues and human resources for the overall support of the event.
The gi-Cluster Game Jam 2014 is co-financed by national resources and the European Regional Development Fund, through the National Strategic Reference Framework 2007-2013, within the framework of the project «Creation and Operation of a Management and Development Structure for a Collaborative Formation of Game Technologies and Creative Content» implemented by Corallia as a Supporting Entity of the gi-Cluster.
