The FBI has published a list of cybercriminals who have been accused of, among other things, “identity theft, computer fraud, hacking, creating and distributing malware.” Members of the Chinese People's Liberation Army are included in the most wanted list.
First on the list is John Gordon Baden, with a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. This is not the largest amount offered by the FBI, since in other cases the reward can reach $50,000. Evgeniy Bogache, the person accused of creating the Zeus botnet (which stole financial data from numerous users) is in second place on the list. The next three places are occupied by members of the Chinese People's Liberation Army who are involved in many espionage cases against organizations around the world. Its 3 members, Sun Kailiang, Huang Zhenyu and Wen Xinyu, have been brought to trial on 31 criminal charges including “economic espionage” and “theft of trade secrets”. The list of most wanted cybercriminals continues with individuals involved in selling malware to more than 60 countries (Bjorn Daniel Sundin and Shaileshkumar Jain) or monitoring large companies and organizations (Alexandr Sergeyevich Bobnev).
At the same time as this publication, the FBI, in collaboration with the most well-known security companies, are trying to identify a well-known group of hackers, which is believed to be operating from China and stealing valuable information from US companies and organizations
