Adobe recently released a new version of Flash Player that includes important security updates. The company urged all users to immediately upgrade to the latest version of the application.
Windows 8 and 8.1 users are not required to download the updates from Adobe's website since Microsoft has included them in Windows Updates.
If Windows Automatic Updates are not enabled, users should download and install the updates from Microsoft's website. Those not using Internet Explorer 10 or 11 should download the updates directly from Adobe's website.
The vulnerability that was discovered allows, in some cases, the execution of malicious code remotely. Using this vulnerability, hackers can gain access to the victim's computer and steal personal data.
