By sending an extra code every time you want to log in, accessing Apple services becomes more secure
Two-step verification is an advanced way to prevent online account breaches. It is based on the logic of verifying the user's identity, usually by sending an extra code, in order to access your account.
To enable this feature in iCloud and iTunes, you need to log in to the Apple ID settings management system via the web, at https://appleid.apple.com/account/home.
To get started, click on “Manage your Apple ID” and enter your details. Once you are logged in, from the navigation options on the left side, select “Password and Security”.
To verify your identity, you will be asked to answer two of the secret questions you set when you created your Apple ID. Enter the answers and click “Continue.” In the menu that appears, which allows you to manage your account security settings, under the heading “Two-Step Verification,” click the link that says “Get Started” in blue letters.
