Something that is funny for someone may be annoying, intrusive, and even terrifying for another.
In the case of a family in Ohio, it can be all of the above.
The Schenks were sleeping in their home one night when they heard a strange male voice. No, this wasn’t a nightmare. The voice was coming from their young baby’s room. The Schenks apparently had their home equipped with a wireless IP camera, which was showing the room and its movements on their cell phones. When Heather Schenk woke up, she saw that the camera in her baby’s room was shaking. But it wasn’t the baby shaking her. As Fox 19 reported last week, Schenk heard the voice say, “Wake up, baby! Wake up, baby!”
What quickly became clear was that the camera had been compromised. Adam Schreck took the camera out. Foscam knew there might be a security issue with the camera, but Schrecks hadn't updated the device.
