Zeus Trojan is one of the most popular Banking Trojans, which was used in a targeted malware campaign against a Salesforce.com customer late last month. Researchers found that the new variant of Zeus Trojan has web crawling capabilities, which are used to steal sensitive business data from the customer's CRM, for example.
The “GameOver” Banking Trojan is also a variant of Zeus malware, which spreads via phishing emails. The GameOver Zeus Trojan makes illegal transactions from your bank once it is installed on the system, with the ability to carry out a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, a Botnet attack, meaning it causes “confusion” on the financial institution’s server in order to deny access to legitimate users of the site.
