Activision has officially confirmed one of the most unique partnerships we've seen in gaming in recent years. Persona 5 Royal, one of the most beloved and successful Japanese RPGs of the last decade, meets Call of Duty: Mobile as part of Season 6 of the popular mobile shooter.
The new season, titled "Take Your Heart," will premiere on July 1, 2026, and promises to bring the aesthetics and philosophy of Phantom Thieves to the Call of Duty universe. This is the first collaboration between the Persona franchise and the Call of Duty series, a fact that has already generated intense interest in the global gaming community.
From Tokyo to the battlefields of mobile gaming
Since its initial release in 2016, Persona 5 has become a phenomenon in the video game industry. With its unique artistic identity, unforgettable characters, and original storytelling, it has managed to transcend the boundaries of a traditional JRPG and gain millions of fans around the world.

The Persona 5 Royal remaster, released in 2019, further boosted the series' popularity and established Atlus as one of the leading RPG developers . The game has also gained a reputation for being unafraid to experiment with unexpected collaborations, participating in crossovers with different franchises.
The collaboration with Call of Duty: Mobile is perhaps the boldest venture to date, as it brings together two completely different worlds: the strategic and narrative universe of Persona and the fast-paced, competitive action of an FPS.
Persona 5 Royal – Call of Duty: Mobile: New skins and exclusive cosmetics
As part of the crossover, players will gain access to four new Operator skins inspired by the Phantom Thieves. The characters Cipher – Joker, Scylla – Panther, Alias – Queen, and Urban Tracker – Violet will bring the iconic looks of the Persona 5 Royal protagonists to the battlefield.
Each skin will come with special lobby entrances, themed accessories, and unique animations. Additionally, those who acquire at least two of the new cosmetics will unlock an exclusive “Baton Pass Animation,” inspired by the Persona combat system.
The in-game store will also be enriched with new weapon blueprints and weapon cosmetics for the LK24 – Arsène, QQ9 – Carmen, Type 63 – Johanna and RAM-7 – Cendrillon, which will feature unique enemy elimination.

Persona brings new mechanics to the game
The collaboration isn't just limited to cosmetic items. Call of Duty: Mobile's Plunder mode is getting a special " Plunder Treasure Hunt " event for a limited time .
Players will be able to enter specific areas of the map, where the environment and HUD will transform to match the aesthetics of Persona 5 Royal. There, they will face waves of Shadow enemies and, upon successfully completing missions, will obtain special chests containing cash and Persona masks that provide temporary advantages in combat.
Additionally, a themed shooting gallery based on Persona's famous Palaces will offer exclusive rewards, such as a Morgana backpack, a motorcycle skin inspired by Ryuji Sakamoto, and a special Nuclear Strike animation, where Morgana appears to celebrate with the player.

A collaboration that may pave the way for the future
2026 marks a milestone for the Persona series, marking its 30th anniversary. The return of Persona 5 Royal to Xbox Game Pass, the announcement of Persona 4 Revival for February 2027, and the intense rumors surrounding the highly anticipated Persona 6 all suggest that Atlus is preparing for a new era for the franchise.
For Activision, this partnership proves once again that crossovers have become one of the most powerful tools for maintaining player interest.
