The BMPoC hacking group, which compromised a total of 15 NASA websites last September as a protest against NSA spying on Brazil, has returned with a vengeance with a new attack
This time, the group managed to compromise several subdomains of the Brazilian Air Force (aer.mil.br), including cemal.aer.mil.br, tita.aer.mil.br, seripa2.aer.mil.br, oarf.aer.mil.br, hfab.aer.mil.br, and dti.aer.mil.br.
The attack took place on Sunday, while currently all domains have been fully restored.
According to HackRead, the attack was carried out by Baader Meinhof, a member of BMPoC, who altered the content of the websites and posted a message of protest against the Brazilian. The hacker also urged users not to use social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, because they are used to spread lies.
Baader Meinhof's account on zone-h.org shows that he has compromised a total of 19 Brazilian military and government subdomains since August 10, 2013.
