Although it is considered easy to recruit security experts to protect a company and its online operations from hackers, the difficult part is preventing damage that may be caused.
This is where Deutsche Telekom, as Reuters reported.
The company, which is also a major shareholder of OTE, has entered into a partnership with the security "gurus" of RSA to provide special services.
The services include attack prevention through early detection, as well as “clean pipe” Internet connections that will route data through secure, hack.
Although the German provider has not revealed the pricing policy that will govern these services, the target will be small and medium-sized businesses that will pay a fixed monthly subscription.
The “shielded” connections are expected to be available at an affordable cost within the first months of 2014.
However, with what has been made public recently, it will not come as a surprise that there is strong demand for such a service from European consumers, and especially businesses.
