Apple has had a busy March so far, having released seven new products and announced an eighth. Looking ahead, there is even more action from Apple before the month ends, including three things you should watch this week.

There's a good chance Apple will announce WWDC 2026 this week. If that happens, we'll also have the date on which Apple will announce iOS 27, macOS 27, and the other OS 27 software updates. Apple holds its developer conference in early June.
Apple released the iOS 26.4 Release Candidate on Wednesday, highlighting 13 improvements coming to your iPhone. The RC release date of March 18 likely means we'll see the final version of iOS 26.4 arrive on Wednesday, March 25.

Apple's 26.4 release cycle also includes iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. Each platform will support eight new emoji characters. The Mac is getting a compact tab option in Safari. Apple TV is getting an Always On Audio setting and a Genius Browse feature .
visionOS brings support for the latest Nvidia CloudXR, enabling new gaming experiences and more. And Apple Watch users will be pleased with a less frustrating design choice for the Workout app.
It also sounds like Apple has more security updates for devices running older versions of iOS. Apple says that devices running iOS 13 and iOS 14 should update to iOS 15 to “receive these protections and will receive an additional notification to install a Critical Security Update in the coming days.”

Last Monday, Apple announced the AirPods Max 2 in a surprise move. Notably, Apple has not yet opened orders for the AirPods Max 2. Instead, the company says pre‑orders will start this Wednesday, March 25. There is still no firm release date, but Apple says orders are expected to arrive in early April.
