It appears that PlayStation is refocusing its attention on console exclusive releases. According to a report from Bloomberg, Sony appears to be moving away from porting PS5 games to PC, which includes canceling plans for a PC version of Ghost of Yōtei.

This is a significant change compared to a few years ago, when Sony had stated that it wanted half of its games to be available on PC and mobile by 2025. In the framework of this goal, some of its biggest franchises, such as The Last of Us, Horizon, and God of War, made their appearance on PC. This month, in fact, we will see the release of titles for PC that are supported by PlayStation, such as the multiplayer shooter Marathon and Death Stranding 2 by Kojima Productions.
However, the Bloomberg report notes that the PC releases did not sell particularly well, which could be a reason for the strategic shift. It also warns that the plans may change in the future. Sony has not commented.

The removal from PC would mean that PlayStation returns to a more traditional release model: using exclusive titles to attract the audience to its console. It is a strategy that has performed well for Nintendo, but in recent years both Sony and Microsoft have been experimenting with a multi‑platform approach. Xbox, in particular, has shown an aggressive strategy, not only making PC one of the pillars of its strategy but also releasing games on Sony and Nintendo's competing platforms.
