Google is integrating Alphabet's AI-in-robotics moonshot, Intrinsic, into the company after five years as a separate unit. Intrinsic graduated to an independent company within Alphabet's Other Bets in 2021, a portfolio of high-risk, for-profit businesses that also includes robo-taxi company Waymo and healthcare company Verily. Details of the deal are unclear, but the companies said Intrinsic will remain a "distinct group within Google."
