Young people say Windows 8 is much easier to use

Windows 8 is still considered a rather complicated operating system, mainly because it lacks a Start button and everything is concentrated on a Start screen, but it seems that demographics suggest otherwise.

Peter Renner, professional services director for En Pointe Microsoft, told ChannelProSMB that younger people seem to be discovering the benefits of Windows 8 much more quickly, so they need less time to get used to the operating system.

Microsoft tried to address this issue in Windows 8.1 by bringing back a Start button, but instead of launching the traditional Start menu, users are taken to the new touch-optimized Start screen.
