Thanks to a major leak from the Camera FV-5 database, we now have a clearer picture of the specifications of the US version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938U). The information reveals the capabilities of the device's ultra-wide and telephoto camera sensors.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Camera: Top Specifications
The S25 Ultra's main camera is expected to retain the impressive 200MP Samsung HP2 sensor. However, new information from the Camera FV-5 database, as published by 91Mobiles, confirms that Samsung will use 50MP sensors for its ultra-wide and telephoto cameras.

According to the leak, the 50MP sensor will produce 12.5MP images through 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, which enhances sharpness and improves performance in low light conditions. This camera has a resolution of 4080 x 3060 pixels, electronic image stabilization (EIS), and a lens with an f/1.7 aperture and a focal length of 23.2mm. With the wider aperture, it seems that this is the ultra-wide camera of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which has undergone significant improvements compared to the corresponding one of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
These improvements are expected to allow for better landscape and group shots, thanks to the wider viewing angle and increased amount of light reaching the sensor. This translates into superior image quality, especially in difficult lighting conditions.
