The next iPhone SE, expected to be released in 2025, looks to be one of the most exciting smartphones Apple in several years.
Meanwhile, it appears that a major launch is planned for next year. Japanese website Macotakara has published images that it claims are a “3D printed mockup” of the new iPhone SE, which features a familiar design almost identical to the iPhone 14, as Bloomberg has also reported.

The fourth-generation iPhone SE will likely have the same dimensions as the iPhone 14, including the boat-shaped notch on the front. The main difference will be the rear camera island, which will have only one lens. An interesting revelation from the latest leak is the possibility of a Plus model. The iPhone SE 4 was originally planned to be 6.7 inches, like the iPhone 14 Plus, while a 6.1-inch model was later added, the same as the iPhone 14.
However, we need to approach this information with some caution. Offering a larger 6.7-inch variant would satisfy users who want a larger screen and battery than the standard 6.1-inch iPhone. It could also fill the void left in the main iPhone lineup after the potential removal of the Plus models in 2025.

It's uncertain whether the 2025 iPhone will support MagSafe, although it would be a welcome addition. Notably, the upcoming iPhone SE will likely feature 8GB of RAM, in line with Apple Intelligence.
Apple may opt for the processor for the new model, as it did with the iPhone 16s, although there is also the possibility of using an older A17 Pro from the iPad Mini.
