In the war of Helldivers 2, traitors and traitors cross the line, creating chaos and upsetting the balance of battle

With the initial battle to keep the servers online seemingly over, developers at Arrowhead Game Studios must now focus on a new and sinister threat seeking to undermine the war effort in space – from within. We're talking, of course, about Helldivers 2's inevitable rogues , who somehow managed to find entirely new ways to be annoying, a surprising feat in a game that openly embraces friendly fire.

Progression in Helldivers 2 is a slow affair, partly hampered by samples that must be collected and successfully extracted from missions spanning dozens of hours. But cheaters, using exploits, can collect dozens, or even hundreds, of samples in each mission. Worse, the samples are shared across the entire team, so even the real and patriotic soldiers of Super Earth get involved, some even heroically asking Arrowhead to delete their accounts so they can earn their fair rewards with dignity (which the developer can do upon request).
Other anti-Democrat players are using hacks to gain infinite ammo, increase movement speed, or even activate “god mode” to gain stamina. We’ll report this next thought crime to the nearest Democracy Officer for immediate punishment, but we suspect that those responsible are primarily playing on PC, due to their greater understanding of mechanics. Such is the double-edged sword that is the combination of gaming platforms.

Why, you ask? Why would anyone want to cheat in a cooperative-only game where winning against overwhelming odds is the whole point? Ask the Automata, soldier; it seems like the kind of thing those unfeeling, mechanical monsters would enjoy.
