Nothing OS 2.0 is now available for Nothing's Phone 1!
Nothing Nothing OS 2.0 with a custom design exclusively for the Phone 1, providing an updated monochrome aesthetic and other software features derived from the newer Nothing Phone 2.
Nothing's Phone 1 has received a major software update, bringing software uniformity between the company's first device and the more recent Phone 2. Nothing officially announced the release of Nothing OS 2.0 on Discord, informing Phone 1 owners that "exciting new features, improved personalization, and improved functionality" are coming to early adopters.

As reported last week, this Nothing OS 2.0 update is based on Android 13, which is currently the operating system used on Nothing's latest device . Nothing also has a beta version of the software, which runs on Android 14 and works on the Phone 1.
Nothing OS 2.0 for the Phone 1 includes the “monochromatic visual identity” that the company has invested heavily in for its latest device. It includes new “quick settings” widgets, which let you toggle switches on and off, like turning off the Glyph lights when you’re in the theater. There’s also the new “essential” Glyph notifications, where certain important notifications will keep the lights on in the back.
Phone 1 owners will also get the Clone app feature, which allows you to run two copies of the same app on a single device. The update is now rolling out to Phone 1 users, which can be checked by going to Settings > System > System update. In the US, officially, the new Nothing Phone 2 is the way to get to know the company's Android skin, as the Nothing Phone 1 wasn't immediately released there.
