Google Docs is receiving a major update that could soon make the voice typing feature much more useful and popular for transcribing meetings.

In addition, due to the fact that Google Slides now allows users to display their words live as they speak, this further enhances the appeal of using Google Docs for presentations or other situations that require real-time communication.

This feature is about to become even more powerful with the introduction of expanded support for "more major browsers". Although Google has not yet revealed which web browsers will be included, rumors are circulating that some of them will be Safari, Firefox and Microsoft Edge.
