The first smartphone with 240W charging is expected to be released soon

This device will not have OPPO branding and will most likely be the Realme GT Neo5. That being said, you still get all the amazing features and functionality associated with an OPPO phone in a sleek package without the company's branding!

Rumors say this phone will be the first to feature 240W fast charging. However, until further confirmation comes out, we can't say for sure. OPPO introduced this type of charging technology last year – and on January 5th we should have more information on its progress!

The newly-appeared charging adapter bears the serial number “VCKCJACH” and features 20V power with a 12A current load. As mentioned above, OPPO has already made an official announcement about this powerful charging solution.

Last February, we had the pleasure of reporting on OPPO’s remarkable technology showcased at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. To give you an idea, this revolutionary charger can charge a 4500mAh battery in 9 minutes – an amazing feat that left many attendees speechless.

Later, OPPO revealed that it uses three charging pumps to achieve this feat. The electricity distributed to the phones can be quickly converted to 10V/24A.

This charging adopts five safety measures

OPPO has ensured that the new charging solution is safe by incorporating five protection measures. In addition, they have included a specially designed smart control chip to monitor and regulate voltage, current , and temperature levels.

The chip monitors your device's battery to ensure it is not damaged by external forces. OPPO has also integrated 13 temperature sensors for maximum temperature protection, significantly reducing the chances of overheating.

Initially, we assumed that this charging technology would debut on an OPPO phone, however, we wouldn't be surprised if a Realme device is the first to feature this feature. After all, both companies are subsidiaries of each other and freely share their technology with each other.
