Kensington says the SlimBlade Pro will run for four months on a single charge, so you won't need to plug it in as often. The dongle has a storage spot on the bottom of the trackball if you want to keep it out of the way. And if you prefer to keep your mouse connected to your computer at all times, the SlimBlade Pro also works with a wired connection, thanks to the built-in USB-C port .
The Pro version of the SlimBlade offers many of the features that were available on the original model. The big red trackball is still 55mm in diameter , and Kensington says you can scroll by rotating it. You'll be able to customize what each button does with the KensingtonWorks, which could be a useful way to personalize the mouse to your needs.
