Call of Duty Mobile, one of the most popular battle royale games, has just announced a new season and a new battle pass. The new season , dubbed “Steel Legion” by the game’s creators, brings a better battle royale experience, a new multiplayer mode, and a new map called Meltdown.
As mentioned in the “What’s New” section of the game, the new season brings some new weapons and characters. Examples of this are the new “Man-o-war” weapon and the “Ruin” character. Another feature is that the penalty for losing a match is now smaller.
New Modes in Call of Duty Mobile
Additionally, the new season also features a 2v2 mode. In short, there are 4 players, divided into two teams. The goal is simple – the last team alive wins the match.
Another new mode is Gun Game. In this mode, 10 players fight against each other and the first player to reach a score of 200 or 20 kills wins the match. In this mode, each kill increases the score by 10 points. The most difficult part of the match is the end, when players have to get the last kill with a knife. Also, the match duration is limited to 10 minutes, which makes winning even more difficult.
The final mode is Prop Hunt. Here, players from one team take the form of various objects in the game, such as lamps or vases. The goal is to find the players who have taken the form of the objects and eliminate them.
Unfortunately, the two last modes will be available in call of duty from 9 April 2020.
