Alpha Bank is launching an open invitation to participate in the new, annual digital innovation competition FinQuest, starting today, with the aim of highlighting the digital future of the financial sector in the light of new technologies that are already changing the way banks, posing significant challenges and opportunities.
The 1st FinQuest competition will last a total of three months and will seek innovative ideas and proposals for financial services of the new era, leveraging the new possibilities of digital technology. The competition will be based on a real challenge (Quest) in the banking sector, which teams or Startup/Fintech companies that combine a wide range of skills and experiences will be invited to tackle.
Interested parties can apply by submitting their proposal by Monday, September 30, 2019, via the website www.finquest.gr.
The selected teams will join a six-week intensive monitoring program (accelerator) in October and November 2019, during which they will have the opportunity to participate in specialized seminars and receive mentoring from experienced executives of the Bank and professionals in the field of innovation. The aim is to make their ideas more attractive and applicable to the real data of the banking sector, while Alpha Bank will consider the possibility of collaborations with proposals and solutions that will meet its modern needs.
At the end of November 2019, the final proposals of the teams will be presented at an open event, where the three best will be selected. The Evaluation Committee will consist of Alpha Bank executives, as well as executives from investment or consulting firms with recognized experience in innovation, technology and the development of new business initiatives, representatives of academic institutions and distinguished professionals in the startup and fintech sectors.
