The Old Computer Museum is your gateway to the past, especially if you are nostalgic for ancient technology. Sorry for those I hurt.. we all grow up.. 🙂
The quirky museum is essentially an online collection of tons of information about the gradual evolution of computer technology. You'll find timeless classics like the MITS Altair 8800 from 1975, the Commodore VIC-20 from 1981, the Atari 520ST from 1985, and many other antiques from the 1970s to 1995.
What is special about the online museum is that, in addition to the images, information, and list of specifications of ancient computers, there are occasional attempts to present the marketing of the era with several vintage advertisements.
Since 2002, the online museum has been visited over 27 million times. As you will notice, the website still uses the design it had the day it appeared online, so the browsing experience is much more authentic.
