Windows 10 build 15002, which was released last week only to insiders, will include a new set of Emojis that for the first time will feature interracial couples.
More specifically, Windows 10 will have 144 new Emojis, including the rainbow flag, racial slurs, and professions.
It's worth noting that although the new Emojis are available in the build, they won't be included in the Emoji keyboard, so users will be able to add them to their texts via copy and paste.
What's interesting about the update is that Microsoft is trying to combat the misconception that was created in the past about people's skin tone by now adding not only interracial couples but also couples with dark skin tones.
In other words, we will now encounter the following pairing combinations: man + man, man + woman, woman + woman, as well as the woman's form will exist in six different skin tones.
Since the built-in Emoji keyboard isn't available yet, we should expect more improvements in this area. Users will be able to get it with the release of the Creators Update in April.
Let's also not forget that Microsoft is still actively working on Windows 10, which means that many changes may appear in the Creators Update before it is officially released. Of course, it is clear that the giant is paying close attention to the emoji sector, as they are becoming increasingly popular among internet users.
