NASA has released a new 30-minute video featuring stunning 4K images of the sun taken by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) spacecraft.
“SDO captures images of the Sun at 10 different wavelengths, each of which helps us distinguish a different temperature of the solar material”
NASA explains on its YouTube channel.
“In this video you can see images of the Sun in unprecedented detail taken by SDO.”
The video is mesmerizing and took approximately 300 hours of work to complete.
As they explain in the video's introduction, it took a team of scientists 10 hours to create just one minute of video.
