A strange little Apple quirk is responsible for crashing the Chrome browser when running on a Mac, simply by typing in just thirteen specific characters.
A string of 13 characters (apparently in Assyrian), which you can see in the image below, is all it takes to crash every tab in Chrome for OSX, however, this text has no effect on Windows, Android, iOS, or Linux systems using Google's browser.

This Chrome vulnerability has already been reported in Chromium, which means that Google is already aware of this annoying issue and is probably working on a fix. There you will also find the font to copy and paste, if you are one of those who want to play around by trying it out on your computer or of course on someone else's computer.
The issue seems small, but it's actually quite serious, given that it's possible for someone to tweet the text in question as a question and crash all Chromes running on Macs whose Twitter timeline loads those characters.
VentureBeat notes that the Chrome crash doesn't happen every time, but in some cases, and because Chrome reads text differently each time, Mac users may see 13 empty rectangles ( ▯▯▯▯ ▯▯▯ ▯▯▯▯ ) instead of the crash.
If you're curious about how often and why your Chrome crashes, you can type Chrome://crashes in your Chrome and press Enter to see a list of your crashes.
