AVG Technologies has released version 4355 of its free anti-virus program Antivirus 2014 Free, which means that all Windows computers currently running the application should update to the latest version as soon as possible.
The parent company has not yet released any official changelog for this new version, but it is natural to assume that AVG Antivirus Free 2014 Build 4355 comes with bug fixes and performance improvements, which should supposedly make the application smoother on all versions of Windows.
AVG Antivirus Free will continue to work on Windows XP as well after April 8th when Microsoft retires the operating system.
AVG has given the 2014 version of its antivirus a completely new look, including a flatter look, in line with the trend that started with Windows 8 in October 2012, but also a more efficient detection engine with reduced CPU and RAM usage, as well as a bunch of other tools designed specifically to protect your computer.
