Twitter this week released a new update for iOS, for "bug fixes" but it seems that the new version came with a bug.
iOS device owners are reporting to iTunes that Twitter version 6.1.1 has a bug that prevents the app from launching. It's unclear if this issue affects everyone or just certain devices that have been "hacked." However, Twitter should release a new version soon. If you already have the latest version installed, unfortunately, there's no way to "downgrade" to the previous version, unless you have the old IPA in your iTunes library or perhaps a recent backup.
