LG has unveiled a tablet called the Tab Book2, which can best be described as a slider, at CES 2014. This Windows 8 tablet comes with a built-in QWERTY keyboard that easily slides into the back of the screen when not in use.
As you might have guessed, the Tab Book2 is a refresh of last year's model, which featured an Ivy Bridge processor and a 720p display. LG's new model has an Intel Haswell processor and a 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display.
When you need the keyboard, all you have to do is press a button on the side of the tablet and the screen will slide back and up, until the Tab Book2 looks more like a laptop than a tablet. The new model's keyboard is easily revealed, though Liliputing doesn't call it impressive.
There is no touchpad or palm rest, so typing is quite difficult. It should also be noted that there are no dedicated Fn keys.
There are actually two versions of the Tab Book 2, with the “flagship” model being the 11T740 which is equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor and Windows 8.1
