Hackers from the group Turkish Ajan websites US. After breaching the systems of Airport Akron-Canton in Ohio, they hit the official website of the City of Lansing (lansingmi.gov), thecapital of the US state of Michigan.
“It will be a country that bombs its own state , you kill your own citizens , and you blame Muslims for it. You try to equate Muslims with terrorism . This only suits dishonest people who have no human dignity , ” the hackers said in a message addressed to the United States .
In addition to defacing the website , they also leaked a 5.8MB compressed file containing information stolen from the organization's databases .
The leaked data was analyzed by E Hacking News , which reports that it contains names , email addresses , passwords in plain text , and other information .
Currently , the administrators of the Lansing website have removed the defaced page , but there is a mirror at zone-h.org.
