Apple's page is eighth most visited in the United States

comScoreapple

Until now, ComScore did not count mobile users when publishing internet traffic, but it decided to change that and starting today, when it started counting it, Apple's site, Apple.com, went from 11th place to 8th.

In the latest traffic results released by ComScore, the company that gained the most from counting mobile users was Apple, which added 54% more unique visitors to its overall score. The count was made using ComScore's new Media Metrix Multi-Platform, which offers new tools that help better understand a site's audience.

But apart from Apple, almost all of the top 100 sites saw a 38% increase, with the largest being Pandora.com, which saw a 138% increase.
