Apple has prepared an update for iOS 6.1, with the company promising that it solves the connectivity problems that existed on the iPhone 4S. The update, named 6.1.1, has been given over the air, as a continuation of a days-long discussion about problems with iOS 6.1, which even led networks such as Vodafone to recommend to their subscribers not to perform the update.
It should be noted that the 6.1.1 update has only been released for iPhone 4S owners for now and does not affect other iOS devices that had received 6.1. Furthermore, it is said to only address the iPhone 4S connectivity issue and not other issues that are rumored to have come from the previous update, such as overheating devices or reduced battery life.
