As Apple had promised us a few days ago, the new iPad 128GB is now available for ordering. The delivery as stated in the on line store is from 1-3 days.
The release of the new version was originally announced shortly before the release of iOS 6.1. The confirmation came from Apple with a launch date of February 5.
As the press release states:
"With more than 120 million iPads sold, it's clear that customers around the world love their iPads, and everyday they are finding more great reasons to work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs.
With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs."
The new iPad 128GB is available in black and white , and WiFi only or Wi-Fi + Cellular versions. The Wi-Fi model costs 799$ and the Cellular + (LTE for many) model costs 929$.
Although Apple does not provide specific availability by country, the option for 128GB is available in almost all the stores we have checked ( 1-3 days for Wi-Fi, for 3-5 days + Cellular).
This version has nothing new to offer except for the extra storage space. So those who are waiting for the new iPad 5 should know from the information so far, it will be available next October.
