OS X 10.9 reappears in web traffic of various sites

Evidence that Apple was testing OS X 10.9 first surfaced last October, when AppleInsider spotted traffic from machines running the next-generation operating system. While visits totaled around 30 in October, the number increased by thousands in January.

Apple announced OS X Mountain Lion 10.8 last year on February 16th, so it's likely we'll see an announcement about the new operating system in the coming weeks. However, both Mountain Lion and Lion were released in July, so even if it does announce it, it's still a long way off.
