There are many who are waiting for the new jailbreak tool like a mother from heaven to wake up their iPhone in a sense, but there are also many who have now begun to be disappointed by the delay and are going so far as to say that the jailbreak on the iPhone will follow a path similar to that of the Apple TV 3, where even after so long there is nothing new about unlocking the device.

Freeman, a research firm, reports that in the last 2 months, 22,780,029 devices have been jailbroken using Cydia. This number includes iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches.
According to the study, between 2 jailbreak tool announcements, the percentages decrease considerably, but the impressive thing is that with the launch of a new one there is a huge increase in users!
"Every time we release a jailbreak, we get a massive spike of renewed interest, during which time people are furiously upgrading, jailbreaking, browsing packages, and purchasing products," Freeman says.
The only thing that is certain is that the iPhone 5 is technically already jailbroken, it's just not allowed to be made available to the general public yet. But why?
The main reason is that hackers have found such a powerful and good exploit in Apple's code that they don't want to publish it yet, in other words burn it, and this has resulted in them looking for an alternative for the general public for so long.
David Wang ( @Planetbeing ) himself admitted a while ago that his iPhone 5 has iOS 6.0.2 jailbroken and even untethered.
“The fact is, I have an untethered iOS 6.0.2 JB running on my iPhone 5 right now,”
In the worst case scenario, hackers will be forced to use this amazing exploit they found and release it to the public in the form of an untethered jailbreak, but they are not ready for that yet. The latest news is certainly encouraging, as it seems that the search for a second exploit has brought some positive results, as we reported here.
Users seem to be becoming inactive because the longer the jailbreak is delayed, the more they will realize that they can live without it. In fact, an upcoming freer iOS will make the climate even heavier for the jailbreaker community. On their part, a mistake that they admit they made themselves is that in recent years they have moved away from the source that has given them strength for so many years, the world.
So will we see a jailbreak for the iPhone 5? David Wang says yes but doesn't specify when, we just hope we'll see it in the coming months, there is a public and certainly a jailbroken iPhone 5 will give new life and strength through the public's response to the entire Jailbreak community.
