The world's largest LED TV, with a screen measuring nearly five meters, has been unveiled by Austrian company C SEED Entertainment Systems.
The "empress" of foldable screens stretches 201 inches, consists of 725,000 light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and emits images of unique clarity in 4.4 trillion colors.
"Foldable" television
According to the company, the process of quickly folding the huge screen is completed in just 40 seconds with the help of a special mechanism. For consumers who are afraid that the "monster" will not fit in their living room, the company says that the device is built in a way that it can also be placed outdoors, e.g. in gardens, parks or even boats.
If placed outdoors, the television comes with a special in-ground “storage” system that protects the huge device in case of rain. All the owner has to do is press the special button on the remote control and count to 40, and the super-television unfolds before his eyes.
Price from another… planet
As a "blue-blooded" television, the imperial-sized TV costs more than just a little, with its astronomical price skyrocketing to 500,000 euros. For security reasons, the giant screen even has a fingerprint recognition system to ensure that it can only be operated by the buyer.
