BSM-Independent Film Center has released the first teaser for the documentary called “Red” – a film based on the activities of the notorious RedHack hacktivists.
The RedHack group has been carrying out numerous cyberattacks in recent times. Despite being listed as terrorists by intelligence agencies and some of their alleged members having been arrested, the group remains strong.
Earlier this month, they managed to leak over 60,000 documents from Turkey's Council of Higher Education, exposing numerous cases of corruption in the country's education system.
The film, directed by Mustafa Kenan Aybasti, focuses on the war taking place in cyberspace and activism. In the documentary “Red!” a series of experts examine the actions of RedHack.
The 60-minute documentary will be released on February 15, but the English version, which will be released online, is scheduled for April 1.
