CES 2013: Got a whole family of iOS devices? Griffin's new PowerDock can charge five at once

PowerDock

Griffin has unveiled a new line of charging accessories at CES in Las Vegas that are perfect for those with a whole family of iOS devices. It's called the PowerDock 5, and it can charge up to 5 devices at once, while also arranging them evenly so they don't take up too much space on your desk.

Quote from Griffin:

The PowerDock 5 is the best solution to save space on your desk and charge several devices at the same time. It has five ports, which have a special stand to hold even the regular iPad. Simply place a device on it and connect it with the cable. The ports are USB and you can connect any device that supports charging through it.

The PowerDock will be available this spring and will cost $95.

Additionally, Griffin introduced the PowerBlock Universal and PowerJolt Universal, which incorporate the company’s new ChangeSensor technology. The former is designed for the home. Plug it into any household outlet (from 100 to 240 volts) and it will convert it into a safe 10 watts of power, which is enough to charge smartphones, tablets and e-readers.

The second one is designed for the car. You can plug it into the cigarette lighter socket and it incorporates SmartFuse technology, which protects your device from power fluctuations.

The PowerBlock Universal will cost $30, while the PowerJolt Universal will cost $25. Like the PowerDock, they will be available in the spring.
